The principle of cold drawn precision Seamless Steel Pipe

Cold-drawn precision seamless steel pipe is composed of three parts: steel, welding consumables and fillers. The steel is the main body, the welding material is the binder, and the filler is the filler. The cold-drawn precision seamless steel pipe forms a film on the surface of the steel, and the welding consumables bond the film on the surface of the steel with the filler. The filler is corrosion resistant and prevents corrosion of the steel. Welding consumables are wear resistant and prevent the steel from wearing away. The cold-drawn precision seamless steel pipe has strong compressive strength, has a certain degree of flexibility, and has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

If you want to obtain a small-diameter seamless steel pipe with a smaller size and better quality, you must use cold rolling, cold drawing or a combination of the two. Cold rolling is usually carried out on a two-roll mill, and the steel pipe is rolled in an annular pass formed by a circular hole groove with variable cross-section and a stationary tapered plug. Cold drawing is usually carried out on a 0.5-100T single-chain or double-chain cold drawing machine.
